Learn it from the Pros- learn it the right way from the beginning! It takes "wit, grit and spit" to enjoy a great mountain adventure and to return happily and safely home each time. Our Skills and Safety classes are designed to teach you how to do it on your own in a safe, efficient and fun manner. As professional guides, we know the tricks and the fault-pas' and have the most up-to-date knowledge. 

While all our courses are taught in the field- a rocky cliff, icy water flow, snowy backcountry or a steep mountain slope, some varying degrees of theoretical knowledge is commonly included and may even involve classroom sessions.

Pre-scheduled courses: All our pre-scheduled classes are taught in our own Colorado backyard- a world-renowned outdoor Mecca for hikers, backpackers, backcountry skiers, climbers, and mountaineers. We offer pre-scheduled classes for the following disciplines:

• Canyoneering
• Avalanche Safety

Private Arrangements- While we typically utilize the same local course locations, we also gladly travel to a destination of your choice. For private individuals, groups, and families, custom-tailored instructional courses are available for the above as well as for the following disciplines:
