Red Rocks State Park is a world class rock climbing area just outside of Las Vegas offering some of the finest sandstone climbing in the world. It features impressive cliffs measuring up to 2000 vertical feet. Unlike other climbing areas of this fame, the routes are rarely overcrowded. From single pitch sport routes to grade V multi-pitch epics for intermediate to advanced rock climbers, there’s a lifetime’s worth of routes to choose from.
Accommodation is either in the nearby camp ground, or at one of the many casinos in town (where you sometimes can find incredible deals). After a big day on the rocks, it’s nice to go out for dinner in one of the many local eateries.
